TROY HANSON

Troy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout East Idaho. A proud Southeast Idaho native, Troy values the opportunity to serve the community he calls home and is committed to helping patients improve and maintain their health at every stage of life.

Troy earned his nursing degree from the University of Alaska School of Nursing and spent more than a decade caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings before advancing his education through the Troy University Family Nurse Practitioner Program. His diverse clinical background includes experience in oncology, cardiac care, emergency medicine, healthcare leadership, and quality improvement initiatives.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Troy worked as a registered nurse in both cardiac and emergency department settings, where he developed a strong foundation in caring for patients with complex and acute medical needs. His experience in hospital management and quality improvement further strengthened his commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

As a family nurse practitioner, Troy enjoys partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals through preventive care, education, and personalized treatment plans. He believes in building trusting relationships and ensuring each patient feels heard, respected, and supported in their healthcare journey.
