MARK PETERSON

Dr. Peterson is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience providing comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. He is dedicated to partnering with families to support the health, development, and well-being of every child through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. Peterson earned his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency through Dayton Children's Hospital and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Throughout his career, he has cared for children in a variety of healthcare settings and has served in leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer at Hill Air Force Base.

Known for his approachable and engaging style, Dr. Peterson enjoys teaching and educating both patients and parents. He strives to make medical visits positive, comfortable, and less intimidating for children while ensuring families feel informed and involved in their child's care. He values open communication and believes parents play an essential role in making healthcare decisions for their children.

In addition to his pediatric expertise, Dr. Peterson has a special interest in plant and herbal medicine, osteopathic treatment for sports related injuries, and allergy immunotherapy. His diverse training allows him to offer a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to caring for children with a variety of healthcare needs.

Fluent in Portuguese, Dr. Peterson enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds and building relationships based on trust, respect, and collaboration.
