JANNA BAKER
Janna has been passionate about healthcare from an early age and knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine as a child. Her journey began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in her hometown hospital, where she discovered her desire to become a Physician Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.
She earned her Physician Assistant degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia and has since built a broad and diverse clinical background. Throughout her career, Janna has provided care in pediatrics, family medicine, geriatric medicine, emergency medicine, inpatient rehabilitation, and urgent care settings. These experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective and the ability to care for patients across all ages and stages of life.
After relocating to Boise with her family in 2016, Janna expanded her experience in inpatient rehabilitation before ultimately finding her professional home in urgent care medicine. She enjoys the variety and fast-paced nature of urgent care, where she can draw upon her wide range of clinical experiences to diagnose, treat, and guide patients through unexpected health concerns.
Janna is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and believes in listening carefully to each patient's concerns while helping them make informed decisions about their health. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel respected, supported, and confident in their care.
Outside of work, Janna enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves hiking, camping, and exploring nature, and values the balance and connection that time with loved ones brings to her life.
Janna is dedicated to helping patients receive the care they need when they need it most and takes pride in serving her community with empathy, professionalism, and expertise.
