CHANCE CHRISTENSEN
Dr. Christensen was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he developed a strong appreciation for community, family, and service. He attended Skyline High School and was actively involved in show choir, musical theater, and swimming.
Following high school, Dr. Christensen served a two-year mission in Taipei, Taiwan, where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese and gained a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. Upon returning home, he married his high school sweetheart and began pursuing his lifelong goal of becoming a physician.
Dr. Christensen earned his undergraduate degree in Logan, Utah, where he participated in neuroscience and anatomy research and teaching. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Utah, with interests in psychiatry and women's health. These experiences helped shape his holistic approach to patient care and his commitment to treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
Family medicine has always been Dr. Christensen's passion. He values the opportunity to care for individuals and families through every stage of life, building meaningful relationships and partnering with patients to achieve their health goals. He believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered care that emphasizes education, prevention, and long-term wellness.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Christensen enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing games, working with computers, and tackling hands-on projects, including building his family's home. A self-proclaimed computer enthusiast, he enjoys learning, problem-solving, and finding practical solutions both in and outside of the medical setting.
Dr. Christensen is committed to helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health, fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and compassionate care.
