ALISON THOMPSON, FNP
Alison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is proud to serve the community she has called home her entire life. Raised in Eastern Idaho, Alison values the importance of family, community, and compassionate care, and she is committed to helping patients improve their health and overall well-being.
Alison earned her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and spent seven years working as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings before continuing her education and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing experience includes cardiac care, home health and hospice, correctional healthcare, and medical-surgical nursing, providing her with a broad clinical foundation and a deep understanding of patient care across all stages of life.
One of Alison's greatest passions is connecting with people. She enjoys getting to know her patients, learning about their unique experiences, and partnering with them to develop personalized healthcare plans that support their individual goals. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and continually expanding her knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality care possible.
Alison believes that strong patient-provider relationships are the foundation of excellent healthcare. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their health and wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, her high school sweetheart, and their four children. She also enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, and tackling home remodeling projects with her family. Her love for family, community, and lifelong learning influences both her personal life and her approach to patient care.
