JENNY BALL, FNP-C

With 21 years of healthcare experience, Jenny Ball, RN, APRN, FNP brings a wealth of knowledge AND power to the medical office. In 2009 she graduated with her first undergraduate degree in arts and science of general studies from Idaho State University. Her general studies degree was achieved with an emphasis in health sciences. She then achieved her Bachelor’s of Nursing from Nightingale College in 2021. Her Master’s of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner was completed in April 2024. She graduated both nursing programs with honors.

While Jenny went through school, she supported herself and her family by working as a radiographic technician aide, medical assistant in several offices and adjunct faculty for the College of Eastern Idaho, teaching medical assisting classes for a local High School, and worked as a nurse in several specialties. As a radiographic technician aid, she was able to work alongside radiologists who were happy to educate her about imaging reading skills through most of the modalities in the imaging department. Working as a medical assistant she was able to perform phlebotomy, start IVs, run chemo assays, polymerase chain reaction, grow lab specimens, perform and translate EKGs and administer a variety of medications in an urgent care setting. She then worked with a highly respected, local family physician and maintained his office for three years. She was also able to widen her skills as a float medical assistant in the medical office building of a local hospital. She has developed skills in dermatology, orthopedics, podiatry, family medicine, and geriatrics. Her greatest passion is family medicine. Jenny loves the dynamic of carrying for the family unit as a whole and through generations. It’s an important aspect to her that requires a gentle touch and understanding heart. Transitioning to her lifelong goal as a FNP, Jenny is excited to serve the community and lead them toward healthy lives.
