DEREK EDDIE

Derek Eddie was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He moved to Kansas and Missouri to play baseball at Seward County Community College and Missouri State University. He graduated from Missouri State University with a Cell and Molecular Biology degree with a minor in Chemistry. After college he played two years of professional baseball in the independent Texas/Louisiana league before moving back to Pocatello. Derek then returned to Springfield, Missouri to attend Missouri State University again, where he graduated with his master’s degree from the Physician Assistant Program. He returned to Pocatello and worked in orthopedic surgery, 18 months later he transitioned to the ER at Portneuf where he worked for 4 years before joining the Community Care family in the fall of 2011.
