Idaho Community Care Medical Clinics
Our doctors and their team of health care providers are highly trained, caring individuals. They love the patient relationships they have built through their excellent service.
All of our medical staff are certified by their respective boards and pursue further medical education every year to be sure that each patient receives the best treatment available.
Community Care’s History
Four physicians saw the need for a walk-in medical clinic with short waiting periods and friendly, knowledgeable staff and created Idaho Falls Community Care in 1996. The community response was so great that they soon opened a second walk in clinic in Rexburg in August 1999. Our third clinic in Rigby followed in April 2003. In November 2004, Idaho Falls Family Emergency Centers joined Community Care adding a fourth location and finally, our newest walk in medical clinic opened in Pocatello in August of 2008.
Improving Patient Care through Innovation
Community Care is always striving to improve our patient care.
For example, Community Care’s walk-in health care occasionally means that many patients can arrive at the same time, which could result in unpleasant delays in crowded waiting rooms. To remedy this, Community Care implemented a cell phone policy. If there is a wait time, a patient can choose to leave, and the medical clinic will notify them by cell phone when their provider is ready to see them.
The public response was overwhelmingly positive. The local and national media were quick to take note of such an atypical, patient-centered approach to health care, and our innovations were reported on CNN Headline News, CKLW Detroit, and two local news affiliates.
We take all of your health care needs very seriously. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our care, save your time, and minimize medical expenses.
Our free Patient Preferred Card (implemented in 2009) does all of those things. It provides web check-in to expedite wait times, a variety of free medical services, and many other patient services.
These are just two examples of the many innovations that Community Care created to improve your health care experience.
